Who is this guy?
While I was out on the street taking photos, this guy fired off a couple of quick snaps of me and then ran off. I got one of him, but I have no idea who he is and would like to see the photos he took.
Anybody know who he is?
Update: Tracked him down (thanks for the tips), but he has deleted the photos so he could take photos of more important things. Oh well, you guys will have to come see me in person.
Yeti Smasher and friends
A few photos of Yeti Smasher and friends. I don’t know which band is which because they are cool underground bands.
Photography geek stuff: Nikon D40, 18-55mm lens. I used an SB-800 flash on camera triggering an SB-600 which was either in my left hand, on the floor, or on a loudspeaker. Photos processed with DxO Optics using Kodachrome film simulation for the colour photos. Some dynamic range enhancement was done to lift the shadows on some images.

Cup Day Plans
I know Cup Day is ages away, but I am scheming about what to do for it. I thought a raffle, with the prize of me as your photographer for the day, was a splendid idea. Raffles, however, are technically gambling, and have quite strict requirements for anything over $500 turnover. So a raffle is more trouble than it is worth. I’m still thinking about having some kind of competition though. Stay tuned!
Sophie’s Bus Trip
These are photos I took for Sophie’s 20th birthday party bus trip. I took photos on the bus and at the bars we went to. Taking photos on a crowded bus is a bit hit-and-miss, but you can see I got some really good photos out of it. Lots of fun all round!
