I am best known for my ‘Free Photo Project‘: I take photos in town, on the street, only when people ask, and email them a copy of their photo for free.
I started the Free Photo Project one night to relieve boredom. I had no intent for it be anything more than one night’s entertainment, but I enjoy it so much that I have been doing it for over 2 years and have over 20,000 photos.

You fully made my night on Friday night. What your doing is awesome, crazy and unique!! I hope that you end up meeting a lot of people that respect you and come back for more pics. I know that I’ll definitely always be lookin out for ya wen I hit the town. One of the photo’s you sent to my e-mails was one of the best pics of me I’ve seen in a LONG time. Not being vein but I actually look o.k in it y’know!!!

Hi there Iain!
I would just like to say that it is so wonderful that some1 in chch is doin something positive. usually people get attention from things that involve crime and/or violence and many other unplesant things in this city, but what you are doing is different!
channeling positive energy into chch when everyone is out and about is more of what this city needs! if only there were more people that were more like yourself… everytime m myself and friends are walking to/from a club and see you we are instantly cheered up and you never hesitiate to let us take as many different poses as we want! Its an instant thirll!

What is the best about you is that you aren’t there with a cheap camera or an inspiring photographer.
You are photography.
You are professional and have a great camera and skills.
AND you do it for free.
I have had people in my group who didnt trust other people taking a picture of them so they decided to drop out of the photo… few days later when the photo came in my email they wanted to be in that photo
